This was an individual film produced for Basic Video Production at Olivet Nazarene University. This film is simple compared to my other ones. I looked to past Geico commercials and wrote a script that replicated the "Geico style." The most difficult part was figuring out which camera angles were the best to convey what was happening in a quick sequence. I knew where I was going to film, so I thought it through and scouted the location before filming began. I tried to show all the character's movements to give the audience an image to remember. Later, I hid where the actor was grabbing the pop from so the audience would remember the image seen moments ago; him grabbing the pop from the machine. In reality, there was a table in front of him with 6 bottles.
This film was voted the third best among all the Geico Commercial's produced in the class during that semester.
