I worked on this project with Imagination Studios for Basic Video Production at Olivet Nazarene University (ONU). I was the video and sound editor. The idea for the film came from a joke about how students noticed people stalking them on the way to ONU's Robert Frost building. Lighting and color were a challenge to deal with as the sky got darker over the course of filming. I decided to use this to my advantage to make the film get darker as it got more suspenseful. This required heavy color correction in the middle and end. There was also one particular shot that I spent a lot of time on. In the shot where the main character is almost hit by the truck, she actually walked up and reacted a whole second after the truck stopped. Normally, duplicating the shot and splitting it in half to create 2 sides with different timings would have solved it. Unfortunately, a truck drove by in the background. This caused a truck to appear out of thin air in the middle of the sequence. I could have dropped the shot entirely, but I wanted to challenge myself. So, I spent around 5 hours fixing it with masking tools, and I was successful, though you can see some odd artifacts if you look closely.
